If you spread it on a windy day it ends up flying elsewhere in a hurry.  Here the birds arrive on just such a day to help us illustrate this! We manage to cover all the area with just the needed amount of lime. </div> <div> In the end the Grove is limed and there are just the bags to bring down. It seems unnatural to me to be bringing in large quantities of material from distant places. I had thought we could work using just what was here.  I wonder what it's effect will be on some of the wild plants that make their home in the Grove. <I> </I>Still though most of what I've learned thus far indicates it's necessity for the trees on this sandy soil. If I could perceive the energies here better perhaps I'd know what else to do instead.
