A new gizmo. Inspired by this I immediately order a few of tons of lime. Or perhaps it was the soil test. It's dark here because the days are short in late October. We examine our new find...
gizmo
Here we're bringing down Mom's wagon. It's heavily loaded. We go slowly to avoid unscheduled amusements.
bringing down lime
We'll put the lime bags at the end of each row. They're covered with garbage bags in case it rains. Finely ground lime cakes up when it gets wet and becomes a nasty gunkus that is impossible to spread.

As it turns out, we do end up working in the rain and a bit of snow. On this particular day we are struggling home after the sudden arrival
of both! It's tough working with heavy things that go poof all over the place on a slippery slope when you are getting covered in freezing rain Not impossible. Just very very messy.

But there are the dusty days of glory. Here we are racing along at top speed! Lime is billowing everywhere!
liming
A fine result! It gets more difficult though...
